Navigating Through Defined Spaces: Stores, Malls, Parks, etc.

Blind students need to learn a body of general knowledge about how the world is laid out; how to navigate using route memory; and how to use global mental mapping. These topics are covered in other parts of this section. This area of the book deals with the need for blind students to understand the layout of specific environmental spaces, like malls, grocery stores, and parks.

And as you can see, this section is majorly under construction. Here's a list of important spaces where blind children need to explore. Your comments, lesson plans, references, etc. are welcome.
