Non-discrimination Policy



At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Innovative Blind Navigation held in March, 1998, the Board adopted and affirmed it's policy of non-discrimination as follows:

1.1 No person is excluded from service because of political or religious opinions or affiliations. Discrimination on the basis of age or sex or physical or sensory disability is prohibited except where an agency has been established for specific age, sex, physical, or sensory requirements.

1.2 There is no segregation of persons served on the basis of politics or religious opinions or affiliations, race, national origin or other nonmerit factors. Segregation on the basis of age or sex or physical disability is prohibited except where an agency has been established for specific age, sex, or physical requirements.

1.3 There is no discrimination on the agency's governing body on the basis of political or religious opinions or affiliations, race, national origin or age or physical requirements. Discrimination on the basis of age or sex or physical disability is prohibited except where an agency has been established for specific requirements. The Board's policy is, and will be as laws evolve in accord with federal requirements.
